In your opinion, what is of great importance for a city’s quality of life?
I believe that a city’s people and communities are what define its quality of life. This can give rise to wonderful places and spots that develop a dynamic all of their own, and make a decisive contribution to a city’s quality of life and character.

In what way do you enrich the lives of people in the neighbourhood through your work?
I’m a host, so I love it when people have a great time with us and create lovely memories. Every guest who comes to us gives us their time and their trust. Helping to shape this relationship with our guests is very fulfilling and makes me proud.

What’s an evening with your best friends at your place like?
The table is mainly laden with treats to share, accompanied by a good bottle of wine. Later, we swap our plates for a board or card game. We often lose track of time whilst doing so.

Where do you feel most at home in the neighbourhood?
I really enjoy being at Elys Boulderloft because my four-year-old daughter loves the play area and I find the place very relaxing. In St. Johanns Park, I enjoy barbecuing in the summer or walking up and down the Elsässerrheinweg for hours. But it’s at least equally lovely to enjoy the end of the working day on our terrace at Volta Bräu.
