What does this neighbourhood mean to you personally?
For us it symbolises the start of a new phase in our lives – being independent and everything that entails. This area is not just where our enterprise is located; it is really congenial here.
How do you and your business contribute to the appeal of this neighbourhood?
The Andreasplatz is already a focal point of Basel city’s historic culture but with our concept, we’re bringing a breath of fresh air into the area. Our presence here is also helping to draw in a younger crowd who are just discovering the multitude of attractions this charming quarter has to offer.
What would be the perfect day in your neighbourhood?
Open the store, savour a flat white – preferably with a delicious croissant from one of the many bakeries in the area (we always alternate between them!). Now and then, during a quiet moment, sit outside, soaking up the rays of the sun and enjoying a bit of people watching. Then bring the day to a perfect close sipping a relaxing aperitif down at the Rhine with friends.
