What talent would you like to have?
I’d actually love to be able to sing as well as I, thanks to my distorted perception, believe I can (somewhere between Freddie Mercury and Whitney Houston).

In what ways does your work benefit the people in the neighborhood?
In my comedy, I never miss an opportunity to express my local pride and my love for Gundeli. Especially as I haven’t lived in Basel for over 13 years, I sometimes almost feel an obligation to explain to people just how wonderful my hometown is. So I’d say I’m helping to promote this marvellous little corner of the world.

Where do you feel most at home in the neighbourhood?
I really enjoy meeting old friends in the places where we spent our youth. For example, in the little park in our housing estate, armed with prosecco and wearing tracksuit bottoms to reminisce together. Or we go for a walk along Delsbergerallee, where I used to walk our family dog Ari. I always love showing friends from Zurich my favourite restaurant, Mum’s Kitchen, the Bio Bistro and the stylish Werk 8 bar in Gundeldinger Feld.
